Doctor Visit #1

If you read my last blog I had a new doctor, and lots of questions about a vbac instead of a c-section. I thought I was going to go in kicking and screaming and having to hold my ground, but he actually listened to me and we were able to have a great talk! He isn't against having a vbac....the only thing he is worried about it the scar tissue from my last c-section, and a cracked pelvis. He will have me go to physical therapy and try and work my issues out. And tomorrow we find out how much scar tissue I have from the infection that accured after my c-section.

If he decides it's not best suited for me to have a vbac i'm going to fight a little harder. I still have time...Even being able to "labor" for a while before we truly decide will be a fantastic accomplishment! I know it sounds stubborn of me...but I want to feel fantastic about my final decission, and what is the best for the baby and myself. But in the end if I have problems then the c-section will be there for me. I will for sure have the baby in the hospital. That is the only safe place I know I can be just incase of an emergency! Especially with all the medical issues I have had in the past. I really do enjoy being pregnant and there are so many things that I have truly been blessed with!

Another blog will be coming soon. Tomorrow we find out what we are having!!!!!!! :) :) :)

  1. that is wonderful! i'm so glad you felt at least listened to by your doctor. i think at least laboring is a really good idea, even if it does end in a c-section. research shows how good it is for the baby to be in labor (especially labor that starts on it's own, not induced). wishing you the best!! i'm proud of you.
